We have been using Lanzarote Living for some time now for residency, driving licences, cars. doctors appointments, hospital appointments, lost phones, problems with stores. The list goes on, I can assure you. Since we got to know the team, every one of our problems is met with courtesy, efficiency, promptness and professionalism. So we've just completed the final stage for graduating to permanent residency and we can't thank Lanzarote Living Consultancy enough. Right from the beginning when it seemed like the TIE application process was being made up by the authorities on-the-fly, Lydia was absolutely on the ball and knew exactly how to navigate the choppy waters to get things done. At a number of points along the way it simply got too hard for us, not knowing exactly what was required of us by the Spanish government, and concern that we might accidently step outside of the rules for retaining our right to residency. Every time we got a wobble, it was Lydia that gave us everything we needed to keep the faith and continue pressing forward. Quite honestly, if it wasn't for Lydia and her team we would have given up long before getting to this stage of applying for permanent residency. For that we are truly thankful and we wouldn't want anyone else fighting our corner in what has been a long (and at times quite stressful) journey from initial TIE application to permanent residency. This great team has also sorted our driving licences and digital certificates with great efficiency and no fuss. Five stars plus for Lydia and her team!

I'm delighted to recommend wholeheartedly the services offered by Lydia and her team! I first 'met' Lydia online a couple of times in 2024 while attempting to understand the visa application process. Let me say that her bookable consultations are super-helpful and really good value for money--in 15 minutes I learned all I needed and more to get me started (and there was no clock-watching on Lydia's part). Fast forward to June 2025 and I needed her help again with health insurance options and my state pension application. It was lovely to meet Lydia, Petra and Jodie in person this time, and they made the whole experience enjoyable as well as informative. Even more importantly, Lydia asked about my UK driving licence... and I was horrified to find that I could no longer use this on the island, having been here for more than six months! I had no idea, and had actually booked a hire car for a couple of weeks down the line. But the process of exchanging my licence for a Spanish one was thoroughly explained and the necessary appointments booked, with Petra accompanying me to these just a few days later. So I am now completely legal! The communication between us all has been fantastic throughout, which is so reassuring. I've emigrated from Wales to Lanzarote on my own, which is a big project to manage, but knowing Lydia and team are there to support me as and when I need it is wonderful. Lydia and Petra have been fantastic yet again. My wife and I were looking at getting our temporary TIE's changed for permanent, but the temporaries had been issued with the wrong wording which needed to be corrected at the same time. The added complication of the wording was a worry, but the new permanent TIE's came back without any issues. Even if your Spanish language skills are good, Lydia and her teams' knowledge will get you the results you need.

As someone that grew up in the Canaries, speaks the language and knows the intricacies of the administrative systems why would I need the services of Lydia and her team? Because I needed to renew some paperwork and it saved me a lot of time and a whole lot of effort! Following a quick chat to explain the situation, appointments were booked, taxes paid and I was kept up to date with progress. There was also someone on hand to accompany me to appointments if needed. If you are looking for accurate information, help with paperwork or in need of someone to get through the language barrier..... Do not think twice about contacting Lydia and her team!

A very good professional

If you are moving to Lanzarote use Lydia and her team to help you with the Visa process, TIE cards, Empadronamientos, driving licence exchange etc. I cannot recommend the service highly enough. Everything was done quickly and smoothly. Appointments are made for you, forms completed and fully explained. It really is a first rate service and excellent value for money.

I'd been struggling with a complex form to pay a tasa and receive a certificate for my daughter after she obtained her Spanish passport, kept going back to it, leaving it, going back to it, months went by and on the last attempt, just before throwing my laptop in the pool, I decided to text Lydia and ask her to do it for us. She replied with a "how to do it easily yourself" one liner but at this point we had had it and asked her to do it. She did it with her eyes shut im sure and left us wondering why we struggled stubbornly and just didn't ask for help at the start

We have now achieved our second non lucrative visa. We now have our spanish driving licenses. Today we collected our NIE/TIE card which is valid for two more years. Lydia and Petra have be absolutely amazing and we cannot thank them enough in making the process go so smoothly. From start to finish they are informative and respond to any questions.
