Hi folks, my wife and I have used CSB services since we arrived in Spain some 20 years ago. We enjoy the peace of mind that CSB give us knowing they have 'our back' in the minefield of spanish fiscal laws that we are unfamiliar with. This includes tax affairs including annual tax returns, wills, NIE's and digital certificates. Always helpful, curteous and professional. CSB International Advisor have been looking after my late parents tax affairs for approximately 20 Years. It is my honest held belief that on the passing of my late mother. CSB failed to execute their responsibilities as executive executors of my parents estate with due diligence. As the inheritors of my late mums estate, we where advised by CSB and settled in full all taxes due. CSB then closed all relevant accounts associated with my late mum. Approximately a year after our mum's passing in April 2022 CSB forwarded an email to the family from the Spanish Tax authorities stating that there was an outstanding debt from the tax year 2020.. As a family we could not understand why this debt had not come to light during the process of our late mums estate. CSB provided only verbal evidence that this tax debt had not been collected by the Spanish Tax Office. As a family member, payment had to be made to reopen my late mum's bank account to ascertain for reasons unknown why the Spanish Tax Authority had not requested payment. Then why this had not been picked up earlier. Furthermore why our late mums estate was closed by CSB who stated that all debts had been collected and paid. therefore I believe CSB failed due diligence in completing a service for which they collected payment. The debt to the tax office was to be split by the three surviving children. Two off the surviving children where able to pay CSB infull, whilst a payment plan for the third surviving child was setup by CSB in accordance with the Spanish Tax Office. December 2023, Having received a correspondence from the Spanish Tax Office stating that a debt was still being registered. I knowingly new that this had to do with my mum's tax affairs. I then forwarded this correspondence to CSB, only to be advised by CSB that this tax debt had no baring on my late mums tax affairs but that of my personal taxes and that I should take guidance from a solicitor. CSB placed doubt into my mind. Therefore I made personal contact with the Spanish Tax Office on numerous occasions only to be repeatedly informed that my personal tax affairs where all correct and that they could not help further. Then the unthinkable, my personal bank account was embargoed by the Spanish Tax Authority and a large sum of money had been taken from my account by the same. At this stage I had no choice but to enlist the help of a specialist tax lawyer. During this process CSB advised my lawyer that this had no connection with my mum's estate. I advised the two other surviving children from my late mum to my concerns. In turn they made their own enquiries to be informed by CSB that this tax debt had no connection to our late mum but was entirely linked to my personal taxes. Eventually I was able to acquire a digital signature, this gave access to my lawyer and myself to view my tax records which clearly showed no debts logged and no discrepancy with my tax affairs. Further enquiries by my lawyer, established that this tax debt was entirely linked to my late mother, contrary to what CSB had informed others. The embargo to my bank account was eventually lifted after months. But the payment taken will never be reimbursed. So much time and costs have been incurred. CSB have failed still to accept responsibility to their misrepresentation, not even an apology offered, just silence, whilst I am still paying for their gross misconduct. This is what the legacy has left for years of paid service by my late parents to CSB.

Stumbled across this firm by chance recommended by a FB page. The experience so far has been great. Great service, great attention. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
